Amwaj Islands

Amwaj Islands are man-made islands located in the northeast of Bahrain, near the coast of Muharraq island. Its a pioneering project in Bahrain, the first to offer freehold land ownership to expats living in Bahrain. With the completion of the base infrastructure , Amwaj is currently already hosting more than 1.000 residents. Some of the finished projects are Meena7, Floating City, Mirage, Tala and many other projects are on their way.


The islands will contain residential, commercial, hotel and retail buildings as well as other facilities including school, university, hospital, fuel station, mall, parks and a lagoonside for dining and cafes.

Went to the Amwaj Islands yesterday and had a look see and I just could not believe it! Just lovely! A must see for any expat! You might want to live there right away! They are finishing the Mall and it will service there area. The floating city is very well done and the homes are beautiful! Resturants and Hotels! Great for a weekend vacation from the city even! Thank you for sharing this!
